Who's doing what? I' just put a new hand throttle on by Backwater 23 lite. Love that motor but the factory handle needs an upgrade. I got my Hydro turf in a few days ago. Will cover the floor of my boat, Nat Gear camo. I put a new axle on the trailer with new wheels. Put boat buckles, the kind that retract on their own on the back and bow of trailer. Now I don't have to fool with the hand held straps...hope no one steels the dam things on a lonely ramp this season! And I put gator glide on the bunks...got rid of the carpet.

I got a new boat this spring. 1848 Prodrive w/ 37efi. Added guide poles to the trailer, mounted a push pole, put a tall back driver's seat, moved the trolling motor power outlet. Up next is a light bar and passenger seat, and some horizontal fishing rod holders.

I did most of my off season boat mods last summer. I added interior LEDs, removable light bar on the bow, winch, new bow stop on the trailer and a pop-up duck blind. The motor got a new potted EFI unit, new air filter housing and filter, tiller extension and tune up. This year I added a Garmin echoMAP 73sv fish finder/chart-plotter, transducer mount and two LED reverse lights (cut into the transom). The only other thing I have planned this for this summer is a Bimini top so daytime bow fishing is a bit more tolerable.

Misfire, how'd you mount your removable light bar?

My boat has square stake pockets built into the deck to accommodate my removable bowfishing light pods. On my boat I simply made a light bar mount that drops into the stake pockets.

If you don't have stake pockets I'd incorporate rivnuts. They are flush, neat and clean looking as well as durable. If you use wing bolts then the light or light mount can be put on and taken off your boat easily and quickly.

These type of nuts are what I'm talking about.

I just got around to fixin all the stuff that broke during duck season. Nav light switch replaced, replaced bolts for the grab bar over the console, put on new bearing buddies (or cheap equivalent), took all the dings out of the SS prop the best I could, fixed the flooring, and put new bunks on the trailer.

LOL, yep. Also forgot that I broke off the transducer on the trailer getting the boat off it on a windy day by myself. Super glue held on so far!
