By far the most difficult season we have had. We had the birds, but it was a constant chase and guessing game with the abundance of fluctuating water and busted levees. Working to get to the X was a chore to say the least. I bet we spent 10-20 hours a week repairing the damages we encountered along the way. There was no quit in us though!
Always a bitter sweet moment the last day. Draining for the geese is what we look forward to now.
Wish he could've gotten out more this year, but the condition were just a little too sketchy...
The dog even helped when things broke! lol
Washed out blinds led us to improvise and on many occasion left he dog stand under water.
Greenest I've ever saw in December/January.
Last duck of the season.
Very few mallards this year, but plenty of spoonbills. Actually killed a blue wing Saturday. Talk about crazy.
My favorite of the season.
That a wrap!
