Hunting near Childress on opening day this year. Heard theres a lot of snakes.... Good hunting normally?

I don't hunt there enough to tell you how it's going to be but I do know the snakes are thick... I would definitely invest in some snake boots/leggings or something.

I'm about an hr and a half south. Rattle snakes everywhere. Everything I've been out I've killed 2, they're good eating if u fry em.

I'm next door in Hall and yes, lots of rattlers. I killed four in 24 hours around my place last November. If you don't already have some, a good pair of snake boots would make a wise investment. Good luck.
