Looking at buying a new gun, looked at one at Academy. Fit me fairly well. Any experience, good or bad?

It won't let you down. Add a limbsaver pad and you are good to go.

I bought one.

Like the gun alot, for me it's strictly a waterfowl piece

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

I had one and it fit very well. I had added a limb saver to it. In the first spit the recoil reducer broke and caused the gun to jam every I shot it. I went back to shooting my Extrema2 while I waited for the part. Decided to keep shooting my extrema2 and sold the Outlander. I liked it and would recommend it. Great gun for the money.

I appreciate the input. It would be strictly a waterfowl gun for me as well. Although I probably won't go back to hunting as much as years ago I would prefer a semi auto for the recoil reduction. Recoil candy a$$ here.

Buddy and I bought one each at the same time right before dove season this year. He's had a few (2-3) ejections failures and I've had zero. We've both put it through hell since August. Been in mud and as low as 12* weather and mine's never failed yet.

His bead did break off, as did mine. But that's an easy fix. Highly recommend it!

They are $800 at Academy. I haven't looked around or contacted my friend who sells guns on looking for a better price.

Had mine for about a month, love it. Shoots great, haven't had any problems. But, i havent been in extreme conditions. Just some mud, a little rain and cold 25 degrees. Look around, you can find it cheaper than $800. I paid 679 at cabelas in FTW.
