In the four years and change since S. Duckslayer has been registered on this site, surely he's seen one of the weekly lampooning efforts after someone discussed public waters. Right? This has to be a troll job. There's just no way.

I have a hard time duck hunting all morning on good catfish lakes and especially the coast.. the bait alarm makes them flare everytime

I can tell ya about my last experience with that lake. It damn near killed my son last summer. He went there to fish with a buddy and his old man. Catifishing punch bait at first before finding surfacing sandies and hybrids. While catfishing he scratched a mosquito bite on his leg. Ended up at the ER twice and in intensive care at Children's for over a week. The open wound covered the entire top of his leg from the foot to the knee. Doctors claim some lake born critter, but I think it was the bacteria and crap in the punch bait.

Helplessly watched it growing bigger and bigger. Thought he was gonna lose a leg, then thought he might die.

your right, I am 17 and this is the first time I've been on this forum in years. we went to the lake last year as a family hunting trip, now I want to go back this year for my senior trip. I was just wanting to know if I was going to waste my time and money on something that I would remember for the rest of my life...
