 Mallard machine motor

My mallard machine propeller has jammed up and started grinding to the point where it won't turn the blade. Anybody have this happen? Any suggestions? I took it apart and did some general cleaning and I'm getting the same result. A new motor is $130. The whole system is $160 new.

No idea how to fix it, but if you are going to throw it away and buy a new, let me know. I will pick it up and see if the few handy guys I know can fix it.  Coach
