Is it legal to hunt hogs with the plug removed?

Pretty sure the plug is not required for hogs. Waterfowl yes, maybe other game birds. Hogs, nope!

I have two unwritten rules:
1.
2.

https://tpwd.texas.gov/regulations/outdoor-annual/hunting/general-regulations/means-and-methods

Quote:
Magazine Capacity

There are no restrictions on the number of shells or cartridges a legal firearm may hold when hunting game animals or game birds (except migratory game birds, see Legal Shotgun).

If there are no limits for game animals like deer I can't imagine there are any limits on hogs.

Just remember to put the plug back in if you go hunt Duck or Dove with the same gun. It's one of the more common tickets issued by GWs opening day of Dove season. Last time hunter used the gun was Quail or Turkey season and they forgot to put the plug back in.

I don't have that issue with my Citori.

Its ok. Just loose range with buck shot and the real big boars can tote some 00 off and gone.

Recently got a gym membership, strange folks! I like to show up the roid zombies with my full motion curls with the 55lb. bells. Not their cheater short stroked light weights. It's holarious.

Yes legal in Texas. Get you one of these lights, set out some corn, and camp on them. We did that this past weekend and had a hell of a time.
