Greetings, First, a big thank you to glocker17 for posting the link to the flash hider test. If you remember I was using a Troy Claymore (flame thrower). Went out last night with the A1 flash hider installed on my 6.8 and the difference was amazing. I managed to take this pig but the blinding flash bloom from the shot was much, much less. I can take follow-up shots again almost immediately, like before I installed the Claymore so I am happy. As you can see in this video, flash recovery is very quick so you can perform follow-up shots if/when needed.

That's pretty awesome. The flash is negligible and inconsequential. Looks like you nailed it.

Here is a shot of the flash hider I used in the video above. This is a 5/8-24 thread for my 6.8 ARP barrel and is larger than standard 1/2-28 AR .223/5.56 barrel. Notice it is an A1 and has slots all the way around the muzzle so it's a pure flash hider. The A2 version doesn't have slots on bottom to help with muzzle rise and dust kicking up when shooting prone. I picked up my A1s in 5/8x24 thread for my 6.8 from Rousch Sports in Austin for under 15.00 delivered. Hard to beat that!

Good deal, I replaced mine after reviewing the test as well. I installed an old Blackout flashhider I had in my parts box. It seemed to help.
What scope are you using?

What scope are you using? Pulsar N750A DigiSight in the video on my main 6.8. Also use a Photon 5X on other 6.8.
