Got the opportunity to hunt a friends place this evening.
It's pretty small (~50ac) but he's had a bunch of hogs on it recently.
We do not have night vision unfortunately and there hasn't been any attractants put out that I'm aware of within the last few months.
Anything we can do to increase our odds? 40% chance of rain if it makes a difference. This is down in SE TX.
Thanks!

If you can get there somewhat early, scout around and see where the hogs have freshly rooted. You could put some corn out there, but mainly just pick a spot that's downwind of their rooting AND their approach. If you don't see any in the evening, and you're staying overnight, get up an hour or so before sunrise and go out to catch any that are still around at daybreak. Generally increased chances of rain mean cooler temperatures, which often means the hogs come out earlier if they haven't been experiencing much hunting pressure. If they've been hunted recently, mornings might be better since most folks don't get up early for hogs.
I have two unwritten rules: 1. 2.

Don't think there's been any pressure for 2 months or so which'll hopefully be good for us! Not planning on staying overnight though.

Might be too late for this advice, but if not-hunt while it is raining, and also right after it stops raining. The water seems to get them on their feet & moving. Are there utility poles, or light poles, running through the property? If so, pigs like to rub up against them shortly after getting wet. If there is a power line right of way using wooden poles with creosote-check them.
Neighboring properties have corn feeders? if so, hunt that adjoining property line as they will be moving to where the food is after they are done bedding. I'm sure you know this but you need to make sure that your bullets do not cross the boundary fence. 50 Acres is a small place and you are going to need to find out their travel lanes and position yourself such that you can intercept them while they are moving. Or, ask your buddy if you can put up a feeder and then you will be set.
A hog is nothing more than a bullet receptacle.
