Came to fill feeders and do some brush clearing. I discovered I had a sounder visit last night so I called the wife and headed to the stand after grabbing a snack.

This lone boar came in about 3 hours early and to a different feeder. With luck, the others will arrive in another hour or two.

Pic is taken with my cell phone through my thermal sight.

People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf

Well, there wasn't any more luck to be had and the sounder was a no-show. I saw a total of 1 deer, 1 hog, a mouse, and 4 coyotes. Despite having a heater in the stand, it got cold sitting still in the clothes I had worn to clear brush. One side of me was cooking with the help of the heater and the other side was freezing. So I called it a night, called my neighbor and he came for the back straps.
