Went out to Leesburg (2+ hours drive) Friday night to reduce the population of swine in the area.

It was not pretty.

2 shooters
2 night visions
30+ pigs

Zero kills

Sometimes it just doesn't work out.

Can't even look at the videos cause neither scope recoil activated recording feature worked.

What kind of scopes were you running?

Were they zeroed and verified?

Sorry to hear of the zero kills - that'll gnaw at you until you score again!

Running x-sight and x-sight 2

They were zeroed, it was all human error and lack of communication and planning. It was the first time my partner had seen a group that big and was counting his dead pigs before he killed them. He was a little nervous and jumpy on the trigger.

Bummer, dude! Sounds like the RAV wasn't turned on if it failed in both scopes. Had you tested it previously on the rifles being used?

I had mine turned on but it didn't work so I will manually turn it on next time.

Unless it was an added feature via microcode, the X-Sight I did not have a recoil start, had to push the button.
