I am building a fence out of Cumaru and will have a ton of cutoffs. If any of you knife makers want some of it to work with. just let me know. It is a beautiful wood and very very hard and very heavy.

I'm going to put an oil finish on a few of the pieces. The color variation ranges from a Rosewood red to a greenish Teak. One sample I finished has this intricate cell structure I'm thinking will pop out after a couple more coats of oil and a coat to wax. Anyway I'm going to have 180 pieces about 2 1/2" long 5 1/2" wide and 13/16" thick if somebody wants any of this stuff.

I'm thinking this stuff would be great on a set of kitchen knives or a EDC. Stuff is as hard as Ebony at 3600 on the Janaka scale. Anyway, if any of you local guys want some of it just holler.
