I came up with this design a couple weeks ago and I think it's a great little skinning knife. No worries about a ruptured gut and great for detail work. This one is A2 tool steel with Desert Ironwood.

Great looking knife. Our rancher insists on us bringing back a kill and hanging it back feet first to gut it. I think its silly and against gravity. I've managed to puncture the paunch twice this season alone. 'Might have to get one from you.

Thanks! Just hit me up when you are ready. I have two on the bench that I'm about to put handles on the first of the week.

I like it too. That's some good looking wood! Did you make the sheath too? It's nice also.

Many thanks! He does custom work too. Holsters, rifle slings, cellphone cases and even belts. Unfortunately I don't think he is on here.
