Does anyone know anything about this knife maker? My buddy says he just got one for a steal. I’ll post pics. Maybe y’all can help me decipher what the materials are and is it in good enough shape to clean up really well?

Yeah Steve Nolte and his wife Barbi makes some nice knives and are good friends of mine. That is more than likely Alabama Damascus since we tend to hang out there with Brad the owner of Alabama Damascus. His wife Barbi and him have been published many times in knife mags

I guess what I meant is no 2 are alike and from the looks of it, he’s made tons of knives. Dang nice stuff he has!
Apparently my buddy found a diamond in the ruff at the Canton flea market. He says this one, he got them to $45. Makes me wonder if it’s truly one of Nolte’s. I may just email him. It does have stones in the handle with some sort of risk or bone
