Well it wasn't supposed to be a letter opener but stuff happens. I thought this was a piece of A2 steel but as it turns out it was just a piece of mild steel that got mixed in with my blade steels. All of that time and effort and then it wouldn't harden bang.
I'll probably put some scales on it when I have the time and give it away as a LETTER OPENER.
