I applied to several hunts for my kids, I know I had to put myself On each with them being under age. But my question is did I make a mistake putting all three of them on each application? I was under the impression each would be selected seperately off each app but not sure how that works? TIA

If your application gets picked, everyone on the application gets picked. They don't draw the names separately.

Good luck with the draw. We put the grandkids in for 7 either sex hunts today. Like Palehorse said if selected everyone on the application will get to hunt. It's my understanding if 12 or under they will have to be with an adult if 13-16 and have hunter safety course they can hunt by themselves.

In a good way you are building up some loyalty points with all the applications you put in which means better odds in the next years on the being drawn. Read up on loyalty points and keep putting in for better odds.

And if it is to much hunting for all the kids you can elect to not take them by not paying for all of them. The opening will then be passed on in the second drawing in that category. The youth hunt have great odds. GL and thanks for passing the heritage on and sharing the outdoors experience with the youth. Keep them out of trouble hpefully

Double check on the posted rules for the hunt area you put in for. You may have to have all three of your kids with you at once. When I put the grandkids in and drew a youth gun deer hunt, the rules specified only "permitted and authorized adults" were allowed on the WMA and we had to accompany any youth under 17 years old. The state office told me to put the two kids first, and my adult son and myself down as the supervisors on the application.
