Anybody ever hunt public land in Ok.? Looking at a turkey hunt on a couple places. Just wondering if anybody here has done it.

Yep. Killed a nice three bearded Eastern there several years ago. My biggest buck ever was killed on public land during a muzzle loader season on the same WMA. Like anywhere hunt the public lands farthest from cities and larger towns or you could have lots of company. On the drawn hunts in OK know I have preference points going into two digits within all draw categories. I have never drawn a big game or turkey hunt in all the years I have applied. I do only put in for the more popular areas and hunts though.

last year black powder season my son killed a 163" on public land. you can see pic. of deer killed on , i think is okod.com
