Has anyone use the public land around lake ray roberts for ducks? Are there access points that you can walk into, or is a boat needed? Any information would be great!

Plenty of places to walk into without a boat, but get a map, do your scouting, and get there early. Lots of duck hunters on that lake and i doubt many will offer up "their" spots.

IME, there's been good populations of gadwall and teal, some mallards.

Thanks for the info. Was able to get 2 over the weekend. Think it might have been a little warm.
