made the drive from Louisiana down to Cotulla for the javelina hunt at the Chap. It was hot as hell during the day for Feburary, but had a great time even though I didn't get to take one with my pistol.
I did see one of the largest whitetails I've ever seen and got to see one of the wart hogs that have made it into the WMA thanks to some dumb ranchers nearby. I was one of the few that did not take one. The hunt was nearly full with 30 standby hunters, but everyone got to hunt.
