Can you order a CDS dial for any vx-2 or vx-3 scope? Including older models? I have not found a clear answer to my question online.

You can’t just order the dial. You have to send you scope in to have the turret replaced. I had it done to VXR before Leupold started making them available on most scopes. It believe is was $150.

Shoot the custom shop an email with the exact specs of your scope (model # if you have it) and they will tell you what they can do.
I had an old VX3 8.5-25x that they installed an M1 elevation turret (.25moa click) and the T-MOA reticle-- was not overly expensive and they tested all the components and sent a sheet with the exact specs when it came home. Very very pleased with that scope.
