In the market for a new Binocular. Going to stay with 10x42. Price range is $400-$500. Currently the one I’m looking at is the Vortex Viper HD, but curious what else is out there between that price. Must have a lifetime warranty.

You oughta do alright in that price range. I paid $225 a few years ago for Diamondbacks, great for hunting applications.

Personally, I'm a happy owner of the ATN smart hd binocular (you can look at it on https://www.atncorp.com/smart-hd-binocular. It's the best set of binoculars I've ever had. It has 4× Optical + 16× Digital Zoom and night vision optics are very good! Built-in wi-fi allows me to share immediately cute photos and videos with my friends.

How many forums are you going to on, with less than 5 posts ever posted, to promote ATN products? Maybe ATN should find another way to advertise????

There's many great choices.
Superior to the Vortex Viper HD would be a Kowa BD42-10XD 10x42mm Prominar XD which we have on sale for only $399.99
For a few dollars less is the well reviewed
Athlon Optics Midas 10x42 Binocular
which is only $299.99 street price (call us for a THF discounted price

Good to know, a lot of hunters here on the forum are eager to post cute photos to share with family and friends, because we're good enough, smart enough and by golly, people like us.

For 500 bucks you should be able to find something Japanese made. My viper hd's are Japanese, but I think they have since moved to China. I heard a rumor that even the razors are now Chinese made. No thanks.

Those seem nice, seems to have a large price gap between the C’s and B’s

I haven't heard of this company. Thanks for the link. No retailer markup and Japanese made. Sounds just like Maven. I'm definitely interested.

I've had the Toric 8x42 for a year now, and even took them to Namibia last Ausgust. They are a fantastic binocular, superior to my Meostar HD, Conquest HD, and Razor HD.

I use a Diamondback 10x42. Got it for $220, works great (clear, bright, positive focus on the nearest and farthest objects). I think that for that price bump, your choice would be even better.

Might also look into ZULU5 by SIG Sauer. I really like their glass quality on their WHISKEY3 and TANGO4 rifle scopes, would assume that the binoculars are similar in quality.

Looks like the Viper HD is winning right now because of price and weight. Plus overall good reviews.

I have a hard time spending money on something I can’t put my hands on forst

I just got a pair of the 10x42 C for my daughter, I use the B2 11x45. Best friend has the Viper HD. His vipers don’t touch the b2, Vortex razor line is more I touch with the B2’s .

I can compare all three side by side but not until Xmas. C’s are under the tree.

B’s sound very nice, but about double what I want to spend.

There are good deals all over the place, today Optics Planet gave me a great price, 10% off of that, free shipping and a $100 optics planet card good for anything. Try discount code "WRAP10".

My wife got me the Tract Toric 8x42 for Father's Day. I really wanted the 10x42, and they swapped them out for me with no trouble at all - Terrific customer service. The binoculars are truly wonderful, and I could not be happier with them. They really bring in the light, especially in the dark, thick stuff.

Well I pulled the trigger on a new set of Viper HD 10x42’s because of the crazy low price and I’m a Vortex fan. My last pair was about 7 years old and cost $100, my eyes will be thanking me.
