What is the thought on the new Nightforce 4-14x50mm SHV scopes. Thinking about putting this on a Tikka 6.5 Creedmoore or Sako 7mm-08, will run it on targets and hunting.

Good choice

NF is my favorite and top scope to use (I have 5 of them). They are solid scopes. I like the SHV models, and love the NXS series scopes. The SHV seems like a smaller version of the NXS series, and I like them a lot.

I have a 3-10 SHV and a 3-15 Vortex Razor LH, which is comparable in features and price. I prefer the Razor, bigtime.

For the price point I like the bushnell tactical elite line better...I have 2 nightforce scopes, and while I have nothing against them...feel the Bushnell Tactical are better buys.

Have 2 NXS series and love them. Looking to replace the rest of my scopes with NF in 2017

F1 4-16 ATACR is my number 1 go to optic, I have two, one on my match rifle and one on my primary hunting rifle.

I have had a 4-14x56 SHV on my Tikka 6.5 Creedmoor for a few months and I'm really liking it so far. This is my first scope over $500 so I really can't compare it to other scopes in the same class.

Midway has ~4 NF scopes on clearance. Not sure how good the prices are, but they were discounted quite a bit.
