In this case the “2000” designation doesn’t make complete sense, but consider it an average of ranging capabilities. Under ideal conditions and ranging on a very large reflective surface, the beam can bounce back from up to 3,400 yds., or 1,500 yds. on trees and up to 1,200 yds. on deer-size game. link 3400+1500+1200=6100 6100/3=2033.33333 Now, SIG couldn't have very well put "KILO2033.333" as the product name, so I find this genius. And a testament to the company's European-American perfection (Sorry, I'm a big SIG fan, we have a SP2022 and I literally love the P226 and my cousin bought a P229 Legion from my recommendation )
