I ran a vortex viper 1-4x in a larue mount on my blackout SBR when I had it. Worked great for me, I was primarily hunting and taking shots out to 200 yds. Also went to 500 on steel. The scope/mount combo is for sale in the classifieds if you're interested.

Go with sights and then use the $ for tax stamp
