Any of you knuckleheads used this scope? I'm wanting 1-6 power but not ready to drop $1000+ on something I may or may not like. Mainly for coyotes, range, coons, and possibly the occasional deer/pig hunt.

Thanks

Bought one for one rifle and the scope on the Truck gun started having issues so put the SE on the 1894 357 mag. So far I like it. The one I got was one of the first ones and has FFP so on 1X the reticle is a little small but when you light it up can still see it good. @ 6X the cross hairs are a little thicker than I like but putting it on a rife that I only shoot to 150 yards max it works fine.

I love mine. Have it on a rock river. The lighted recitals make it nice for evening hog hunts.

I am interested in this as well, as I am wanting to put something in the 1-6x range on my AR for pig hunting. Also looking at the Primary Arms 1-6x. PA is $50 cheaper but Vortex has been good to me, so may be worth it.

just my $0.02:
have shot one once and i loved it so its on my to buy list after duck season. its great quality and having the illuminated reticle and 6x is nice. but what sold me is a gent that i am loosely connected to (through mutual military friends from my days in) who is currently using one on his AR-15 to deliver freedom and democracy to those ISIS booger-eaters as a private militia member, and he has raved about its usefulness there. his instagram is full of pictures of him using it

I've only seen one and wasn't impressed with the glass. It could be an exception, but I was unimpressed.

Have one on my 7mm08 AR, love it and so does my daughter. She enjoys taking coons out on the feeders. Had a 1 x 4 but not enough magnification so I tried the 1 x 6 Strike Eagle, worked like a charm.
