I know it's not likley but do yall know of any good attachments to convert a leupold day scope to night vision for a couple hundred dollars? They are all so expensive. I just want something to shoot hogs with without them spooking.

Bass pro - Laser Genitics, adjustable light beam, mount to scope. Make sure get the sub zero model. In real cold weather have to wrap with a hand warmer. Have one on 270 good for about 100 yds.

Is there a difference between this and a green scope light?

Yes, this is a laser, not a flashlight.

I'm not sure I get the difference between that product and a high powered green light, maybe a more focused beam, but I don't believe it's what the OP is looking for anyway...

The real clip-on NV attachments are expensive, not sure I get why, they just are. There are couple of people making something like this in the THF Classifieds Post Link , but I've never seen anything IR or Thermal for a couple hundred to attach to a day scope.

It's still usually in the $500 price range minimum for an add on device.
