Thinking about putting one of these on my AR. It looks to be a little complicated but pretty cool, useful and the price is right. Would like any opinions or reviews that yall may have.

It's been talked about at length right here in this forum. This thread should be a good place to start.

You should know what you're getting into.

I bought the Photon XT myself, thinking that I wouldn't be paying for a lot of bells and whistles and I might get better hardware with the XT. I deal with stuff every day that has had software revision after software revision after software revision and it just seems an awful lot like trying to get that bubble out from under a sheet of mylar window tint, and you have to consider the fact that you're paying for that software (such as it is). Maybe someday I'll decide I should have bought the X-Sight...who knows.

There are several threads on the Photon XT and the X-Sight and you should be able to find plenty to think about.
