What do yall suggest as far as a scope goes on a 300 blackout bolt action? I plan to shoot both subs and supersonic ammo.

Nikon makes a 300 BO specific scope...I don't have one but I really like Nikon.

I had a bushnell yardage pro on mine for quite some time. Now that I have an AR10 for my xsight the bushnell will go back on.
It is nice having a built in range finder. Took out quite a few coyotes wit it. See the picture in my signature.

I have the Nikon. its not bad at all. Decent glass and the bdc allows you to hold over when shooting a super then a sub.

You're not to far from me, if you wanted to see it in person if you havent been able to get your hands on one.

Matt

Thanks guys I have several Nikon scopes and like them my only negatives with the p-300 is that it's a 2-7 ( wish it was a 3-9) and it's a 30 mm objective ( wish it was a 40) I think I will go ahead and order it though and give it a try. Has anybody mounted one on a Ruger American ranch? I need to pick out some rings I'm between leupold prw and warnes. It already has the picatinny base on it from the factory. I'm sure low rings will work with the 30mm objective.

Shot my 300 blk bolt gun today with the nikon p-300. Works. Very pleased for the money invested. Supers are close to the predicted drop mark and sub worked with the circles ( had to use the second clear O as my 100 yd subsonic zero but it was dead on when using + for super zero. My Barnes and vmax 110 loads have the same zero at 2440 fps and the 208 amax at 1040fps is in the center of the second O). You have to shoot it to figure out how it works for your rifle/load but I am well pleased for a cheap scope.
