Recently picked up a 458 SOCOM Upper and looking to mount a scope that will hold up. I have read other used the Nikon Slugmaster with good results. I have a Slugmaster I intended to mount on my 1100 w/slug barrel but just never got around to it.
If anyone is using this combo would like to know whats good whats bad..or if you have other options

Now I lay me down to sleep
Besides my bed a Sig I keep
If I should wake to you inside
A corners van will be your last ride

I would think the Slugmaster would stand up.

The only thing I got to live on mine was a fixed 4x scope.
It shook all the variable power scopes apart.
Also killed a Pulsar N750 and that was last straw.
