Has anyone tried using FLIR one for hunting in pitch black?
$250 for thermal imaging sound really too good to be true, and you know what they say about thing's that's too good to be true.
Anyways, anyone tried this?

What is it you want to do with it. Aside from it blinding you via your cell phone screen, are you hoping to navigate with it, find dead animals, or what?

to the forum. DNS is a great resource for night hunting equipment and successful hunting strategies.

IMHO, not much worth the time. Nominal use for finding downed animals, but even then the enviroment has to be right.

Ah okay. Thanks guys. Well, I was looking into it for multiple reasons really. Went to a hog hunting land, and the guy that operates the land told me not to use the green or red lights that was installed on the feeders. It was pitch black, so I wouldn't know if it was next to a feeder. He told me, just listen for them, and when I'm ready to shoot, I can flip the light switch then, and shoot. So I figured this might help a little bit.
So I was wondering if it could be used to find live or dead animals I guess. haha
