I'm building a pig gun in 300blkout and I'm looking at NV under $1500. I've found a decent deal on a armasight nemesis gen 2 6x but I'm on the fence. All I've used at night is my green LED light which works good out to 60 yards. I'm looking to be able to shoot out to 120yrd. Has anyone used or have one? Also my concern is daytime hunting.

I'd just get a sight mark photon and then start saving your money up for a handheld thermal.

They are really good for the money. I had one on a rifle for a while until I switched to thermal. I'd say they're better than anything else rifle mounted you can get for less than probably 1500.

I had an Armasight Nemesis gen 2 6x with quick silver. I killed a sow at 360 yards using a UNV 20-IR on a moonless night. You can spot objects a good deal father away that that but not be able to positively identify them until you get closer. The 6X is okay, but for closer work I'd recommend the 4X. The 6x limits your field of view at closer ranges.
