My pigs are too smart, and if I shoot at them with my 300blk, they won't come back to that feeder for weeks or even months. I just picked up a 365fps crossbow and mounted my Photon XT 4.6 on it. Has anyone else tried this with any success?

I am planning on moving my X-Sight to my crossbow for use on a deer damage control permit.

I would think that the hogs would figure out pretty quick that you are using a crossbow on them as well however. My crossbow (Barnett) is pretty loud.

Whatever you shoot a hog with, they will learn to associate the feeder area with danger and will avoid the area for a while.

If you're close enough to kill them with a crossbow, wouldn't a suppressed .300 BLK sub to the noggin do the trick just as well, if not better?

I would think so, IF you have a suppressor for your .300 BLK, and IF you are hunting in an area that allows rifles.

Neither is my case, not sure about the OP.
