Camera land has them for $189.99 right now. Which is nearly $100 off. I'm wondering what the experts think about this scope in regards to learning to target shoot at longer distances (out to 500-600 yards). I had already been looking at this scope when it was at $279 but this seems like a smokin good deal. I'm also looking at the SWFA fixed powers, but I think I would prefer the variable power scopes.

I picked up a 4-12x44 from Gander Tuesday for $165 out the door. It's got the BDC reticle, which I'm neutral on. If it's anything close to my 3-9 Crossfire, the 6.5 Creed will be happy.

For the 4-16x50? If so you got an incredible deal.

I have the Crossfire 4-16-50 AO 30mm tube with lighted reticle. I was having issues with the parallax. I called Vortex and sent it to them. I had my scope back in about 7 days saying it was fixed for free and the parallax was set for 200, not 100. I have not went to resight it in yet. I don't think you could go wrong. All my other Vortex are Vipers. I went out on a limb getting this one for the price.
