Looking to scope a 20" AR, stretch it out a little on range for fun, but still be able to take it coyote hunting. Either of these be a good fit??
Has anyone owned or used both? I'm not concerned too much with the price difference, just features and reliability.

That vortex w a FFP illuminated reticle makes a nice set up for precision shooting IMHO. I have liked the low profile less weight however the smaller objective might create some low light problems for coyote hunting, the 10X seems sufficient at many distances I guess sometimes personal choice - 300 yards @ 30 works for me That vortex warranty appears to be 2nd to none. I have no experience with SS scopes so I will leave that to others to comment .. Happy Shooting

I ordered the vortex, should get it tomorrow. I also picked up a 3-15 ss on sale, I still wanted the 3-9 ss but I'll have to wait on that one. Maybe next time they put them on sale...
