I read the same thing. I can't say that I am surprised.

Yes, I could point out how stupid and untrue this entire subject is, 223 is the least of law enforcement worries.....this is another Obamanation. The guy is a living, walking, talking, lie.

You realize that:

1) Their reasoning for the ban is that the M855 5.56/223 round is "body armor piercing" and can be used in an AR15 pistols
3) Truth be known.....all center fire rifle ammunition is body armor piercing
4) Many, many common hunting cals are be chambered in pistols including all 5.56/223 rounds
5) Next logical step is to ban any rifle caliber that can be used in pistols
6) Wala.......back door gun control

The entire argument is a joke. They say it's being banned because it can be fired from a handgun (AR-15 pistol) and it will penetrate body armor. Every single .223 round I know of easily penetrates body armor and is fired from the exact same firearm, so why aren't they banning all .223 ammo?
