From Communist News Network to ABC to Democrats and Repulicrats everyone is learning about bump fire stocks since the Vegas shooter used them. From the sound of it, looks like there may be a bill put into action to ban bump fire stocks and binary triggers pretty quick. Even John Cornyn is signaling his support of the ban. Add this to tabling the HPA by RINO Paul Ryan this isn't good. Better go get you one now before you can't find them at a decent price anymore or not at all.

The Houston Chronicle named several republicans who would be open to banning the bump stocks.

Are these used just to avoid the stamp requirement for full auto?

I say give "them" the bump stock ban. This idea of never giving an inch will at some point, result in them taking a foot instead. Allowing the bump stock ban addresses the issue of doing "something".

I'm very disappointed to hear the suppressor action is now tabled again.

I concur!

Plus I wouldn’t go buy one anyways knowing they might become illegal. Why would I want to waste money on something I couldn’t legally use and is practically junk anyways!

I agree, include the triggers that simulate the same function.

Its like this......you give them an inch and they will take a mile. You give them nothing and they take a foot seems like a win to me.

Next they will be after bipods, 30 round magazines, and flash suppressors. He used those too. It will never be enough.

I've never been a fan of the bump stocks and can't imagine a real gun enthusiast abusing his firearms with them. I can't see needing them at all but a lot of people enjoy it. Alcohol, cigarettes, cell phones, and automobiles are much deadlier. Many more lives could be saved if we ban everything misused that has the potential to kill innocent people.

One shot is all it should take.

The 2nd amendment is NOT about need! Peoples opinion about what other people need or don't need wears me out.....its nothing more than an attempt (a successful one) to distract people from "rights"....

This is just another way for them to get their foot in the door. Libtards will keep chipping away at the gun industry and it will never end.

I've got a "bump stock" on one of my guns, and while it is fun I'd bet I haven't used it more than 3 times. I hate loading clips as it is. rifle But I'd be glad to have them banned if it stops there, and do worry that this will start a trend on other items. In fact if they can fix all the shooting in Chicago, I'll be the first to sit at the table to listen to other ideas. Until then texas my mind is closed on any ban. bolt

Who mentioned the 2nd Amendment? Oh, you did. They, on the other hand, are carefully keeping the talking points on accessories.

Agree the 2nd is not about need. I just watched Geraldo go from the need for bump stocks to the need for silencers--said no significant practical application(showing his massive knowledge). From there, he quickly got to who "needs" 45 guns--see how that works in a liberals mind. We all know plenty of "good guys" with collections of this size or more.

Give an inch lose a right.
