I certainly oppose the legeislation that was signed, but that article is exceptionally biased, and is trying to elicit an emotional response. They skip over large portions of the bill. Mainly that the feeling of the person filing the complaint is only a small portion of what a judge is required to consider. Also included is previous suicide attempts and acts of violence and aggression. Previous arrests, also play a part. It also states that if somebody files a complaint in order to intimidate or harass, they can be found guilty of a class A misdemeanor with a sentence up to 12 months in jail.
