At the 38 second mark it mentions if the gun is visible it must be in a shoulder or belt holster. So, after Jan 1 I still need to be concerned about pocket carry and the top of the gun being visible?

I would read the actual wording of the law if you are concerned. If the law actually states "in a belt holster" then an uncle mike's with the clip on it in your pocket would serve the letter of the law. However it depends on the attitude of the officer. If he wants to define it that it must be on the belt then you might be using that as a defense in court. Not a position I would want to be in.
