Yesterday I watched a doe come up a game trail, she stopped at a low hanging cedar branch she stayed there prob 5 mins licking and pulling at the branch. I have seen something similar with a buck over a scrape but never a cedar. Anyone seen this before?

I have now seen it, 2 years in a row. Saw 3 does pulling/eating cedar branches, opening day, this year on my ranch. Last year it was a fawn doing the same thing. This after chowing down on corn and protein feed.

I've seen it on our place in Lee county.
