Fed just corn for years, and had deer under the yard feeder mostly around feed time. But recently I've been putting out blocks of a corn, molasses, mineral mix. Took them a while before the first one munched it, but they are lined up all day to munch that block now. Cost is apparently going to put me in the poorhouse. I didn't know they had such a sweet tooth.

Good fawn crops the past 3 years means more deer, that would be my guess. What brand of block are you using?

I was afraid someone would ask that. All I can say is that it's black as ink, with yellow corn kernels in the surface, and smells sweet. I got it at the feed store in Groesbeck.
