I've been hunting on a family friends ranch for the past two years. Well last weekend things changed and I will be moving this Saturday. Luckily I found a really good place not to far away. We are still great friends but I thought it would be better for all if I moved. So I will be one of the guys you might pass this Saturday (opening of rifle season) pulling a stand, and feeders, and you will wonder "what the hell has that guy been doing all summer." Yep for the first time ever I will be "that guy."

Sucks you had to move, but hopefully the new place pans out well for you.

Thanks guys, usually when things have changed for me that I didn't want, they have worked out better:

Laid off from work= much better new job.
Divorce = much better new wife.

I'm looking forward to hunting something new.

Unfortunately I'll be one of those guys too. Feeders have been running no problem but blind blew down in a storm this summer. Been working on repairs for the last two months but life keeps getting in the way. Was able to bow hunt out of a pop up so all was not lost. Hoping to have the stand back in it's place by midday Friday.

...I've been ^^this ^^ guy before...except mine was in the middle of I-30 in Dallas...thankfully very early in the am so was able to scramble around and get it out of the way before it caused real problems....needless to say, very careful my tie-downs aren't on any sharp edges since then.

No worries...I've set blinds up in early December and shot deer a week later....Good luck on the new place...you're better off without the baggage.
