Local Feed Store has this in 50 lb bags for $8.00. It's a mix of Whole Corn and Roasted Soy Beans. Analysis is: Crude Protein (min) 16%, Crude Fat (Min) 8%, Crude Fiber (max) 5%. Are there others feeding something similar in protein Feeders?

I've been using the buck ration for a while now and they like it. Doesnt swell up when moisture hits is so works well in any style feeder.

Been running it for couple months. Seems to be a lot of activity and we are covered in oaks too.

It has the protein content, but not the trace minerals that protein pellets provide. If feeding free choice, It's better than feeding straight corn, but not as good as a good quality pellet. If you are limited to spin feeders, it is the way to go, but if feeding free choice it is inferior to pellets.

I just loaded up feeders last week and good to hear that deer do like it. Will be going back out to lease tomorrow to pull sd cards and top off all feeders. I buy mine at McKinney Feed in McKinney, TX for $8.00 a 50 lb bag. It's located across the street from the "Old Flour Mill"
