Does anybody know anything about lake Conroe public areas? What they are like? How goods the hunting? How many people hunt it? Ect?

I went to the district office on 1375 to get an annual park pass and they have a photo album in there that has some pics of some huge deer that were killed out there but I'm sure that it wouldn't be a good idea to go out expecting one of those to come by you.
