Anyone have any luck using the Big & J blocks or BB2? We put 2 of the blocks out on the 29th and will be checking the cameras tomorrow. Looking to see if I should expect good results or not. One block was placed where we have good deer traffic due to feeding rice bran there in the past. The other was in pine trees where there were some trails converging on each other with deer sign in the area but we had not scouted the area before placing the block and camera.

I've tried several different brands of blocks and found that they where rarely touched and only went away after a lot of rain. Neither hogs or deer seemed to care for them. The only thing that I have found that works, and it works great, is Deer Caine Black Magic. Amazon sells it for around $7 and the deer have made some serious trails getting to it. My camera's show them going strait to it, and hanging around it. Follow the instructions and it works great!!!!

I've had success with both the block and the granular BB2. As far as the block, the hogs where I'm at won't leave until it's gone when they find it so I only throw it inside a feeder pen. I have quite a few pics of deer munching on it but the rodents (coons, squirrels, mice, etc) get their fair share too. I've mixed the granular in feeders with corn, about 1:5 ratio, as well as pouring it directly on the ground. A couple of times while hunting, I've poured about a 5' strip of granular a couple feet from a 5' strip of just corn and the BB2 was gone well before the corn. I've never tried the Black Magic, might have to experiment with some. Hope the blocks work for you, keep us posted!

Have put out a few and the deer hit them. The one location the deer seemed to hit them the most was on the edge of a thicket not far from a tank, not the location I wanted the feeder but have watched deer hit one of those blocks several times there from the stand.
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch

We put out 2 blocks and the pigs found one, it didn't last 24 hours as they didn't leave until it was gone. The second was found by the crows and the raccoons first. The turkey got some of the block and 2 deer came into the area looking for it but it was already gone. Won't buy them again without feeder pens up.

I put a Big and J block out at my Menard county lease with a camera on it and nothing but buck pics and it was completely gone in one week.
