Anyone been up there lately and seen any deer? I went about a month ago to fill feeders and everything looked to be green and healthy plant wise. Maybe they'll get lots of nutrition this spring!
No one had a gun in our hands and we just watched it go. One guy threw his beer can at it.. just in really good shape and also hopefully flip the switch a little faster on my wife.

Looking very good so far. The Brazos is rolling, should fill up PK. Grass is waist high for the first time in years. I've seen a few deer around, but the brush & weeds are so tall & thick, they can hide pretty easy!

The river is up!! I'm right on the Brazos here are a couple of pics I took today while filling feeders. Note: the river is oh 200-250 yards behind where the water starts. Anyways turkeys are finally making their way back we are happy to see that. Deer activity is moderate really looking forward to this year! We let some good bucks walk and culled really hard this past year. Hogs are thick as usual but we don't mind it I like catching them! This second pic is of a road leading to the river. The Brazos is 300 years or so from here.

Talked to my LO today. 8.5 inches at Murray in the last 2 weeks. Wheat still thick and the new 16ft tank he dug last fall is over the banks. Blinds intact through the winds and storms. Love it.
