Dove, dove and more dove eating my corn. Seen more hunters than deer. Been a tough one this season so far. Landowners working cows first 2 weeks of the season on our little 500 acres. Not mad at them but it does Screw up the hunting some. Been real warm so far as well with a couple 2 day cold spells. Hope December turns things around for us.

Has been slow up around Dumont also....lot of brows from summer rains and I still have not seen any signs of rut....December is always a good month........I saw a thread about the draught taking its toll....it did hurt but this is not why we are not seeing as many deer ! they will hit the wheat eventually........
