Somebody tell me if this idea is got any flaws. The 2 plots are both an acre, and have been plowed and planted in past. Weeds are strong though, ph is good.
August 8th spray roundup aug 10th brush hog aug 11th drag the plots to remove cut vegitation
laborday weekend- light disc, broadcast a lot of pure attraction (whitetail institute)
pray for rain,
Fertilize with nitrogen 2 weeks later...
thought or suggestions?

You will need to wait 2 weeks after spraying Roundup to shred the plot. What is pure attraction? Do a soil test now based on what you want to plant so you can put down the fertilizer that forage will need, if any.

Have tried WI products a couple of times even with rain, I had better luck with mixture of wheat and oats, and they are a whole lot cheaper. If you want a clover mix there are a couple of good ones developed by A&M that have worked well for me good luck n pray for rain
