Was looking out my patio door and saw a small buck standing at fence.
While seeing deer is not unusual, when I looked closer he was hobbling pretty badly on 3 legs.
I grabbed my camera and caught him right before he disappeared into the woods on other side of hay field.
He could stand on 4 but only walk/trot on 3.
Wound is nasty but not bleeding so I'm guessing it's 2-3 days old.

If your in a ar county I would have called the game warden. Sure he couldn’t have done anything but at least let him know there is a hunter attempting to take illegal deer. Best case scenario he give permission to shoot him and take the meat without using a tag

Then again he may make it to live a long life. I’d imagine the coyotes have been trying hard to get him though
