I couldn't start the gun season until today, had a really slow morning but a surprising afternoon with many does, yearlings, and a nice 2 1/12 buck that showed up and chased a Doe around. I am hunting the morning and wonder if anyone else is?

You didn't miss anything. Everything was nocturnal Saturday. On a positive note I did get a sauna day to sweat out some Bourbon from the previous night. Guys that stayed today said there was a lot more activity this afternoon. 1 nice buck came out and was taken.

I left the pasture Saturday morning, too hot for me.
