Any one else here. Look for the ugly old coot who hasn't shaved in a month or so sitting at the end of the last table. You can't miss me. Good looking woman on my left and Willie the Walker on my right

Enjoy Aeb, hope you learn something. But until I can get the neighbors to quit shooting young bucks I don't need to learn how to manage my herd...lol

Just had a good presentation on the "young buck" problem.

This is milestone program for me. My wife asked if would be ok if she came with me. She realized that with me being temporarily laid up, she needed to learn more about the ranch's game operation. I'm sitting back watching her take note after note. Life is good.

If I had known you were out there I would have tried to make it there. Not sure on the plans for the rest of the time.

I thought it was good. The information on shooting culls was interesting.

I was on the committee that selected the speakers for the meeting this year. Let me know if there are other topics you would like to hear in the future.

Here is a link to the culling presentation and others by CKWRI...https://www.ckwri.tamuk.edu/research-programs/deer-research-program/deer-associates

Thank you for the link moosehntr. As far as next year goes I would be interested in a presentation on predator control and how predators really impact the deer herd in Texas.

Yea, that would be a good one.

Wish you guys had come over to my table and said hello. Still recovering from knee replacement and the rehab guy worked me over pretty good before the meeting. As a result, I didn't get around much. Thought I was going to have to bail but managed to hang in for the full day. Lots of good and useful information. I especially enjoyed Scott's presentation concerning supplemental feeding and herd health.
